Welcome to the Boora community.

Our mission is to create a safe, light, and respectful space where people can connect, get out of the house, and do things together in the city. By using Boora, you agree to these Community Guidelines, which are part of our Terms of Use.

We take safety seriously. If we identify violations of these guidelines, we may remove content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users, depending on severity and recurrence.

Community Principles

🚫 Boora is not a dating app

  • Boora exists to connect people through activities, not flirting or romantic approaches.
  • Using the app with romantic or sexual intentions may result in a permanent ban.

🤝 Respectful communication

  • Treat everyone with respect.
  • We do not tolerate harassment, intimidation, threats, bullying, or abusive behavior.

❌ Hate speech

Offensive, discriminatory, or dehumanizing content is not allowed based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic.

✅ Authenticity

Be yourself.

  • Do not create fake profiles
  • Do not impersonate someone else
  • Do not lie about age, location, or identity

🔞 Appropriate content

  • Do not share explicit, vulgar, or sexually suggestive content.
  • Sending intimate images or sexual messages without consent is prohibited.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

The rules below apply both in the app and in in-person activities created through Boora.

🚨 Violence and misconduct

Any form of violence, threat, stalking, physical abuse, or sexual abuse is prohibited.

🚫 Sexual content

Not allowed:

  • Explicit content
  • Prostitution or promotion of sexual services
  • Pornography or any related activity

👶 Minors

Boora is for adults only (18+).

  • Minors cannot use the app
  • Do not post photos or information about minors
  • Do not use the app to attempt future contact with minors

⚖️ Illegal activities

It is prohibited to use Boora for illegal activities, including selling or using drugs.

💸 Scams and fraud

Not allowed:

  • Requests for money
  • Donation requests
  • Lies with a financial goal
  • Any attempt to deceive other users

📢 Commercial content and spam

Boora is not a marketplace.

  • Do not promote products, services, events, or businesses without authorization
  • Do not post repetitive or spam content

Reporting and enforcement

If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it in the app.

Boora may take actions such as:

  • Removing content
  • Limiting account features
  • Suspending or banning accounts
